- 2 1/4 c. flour

1 t salt

3/4 c + 2 T shortening (Crisco)

5 T cold water
| Original directions below, but just want to note that you can just combine everything in a food processor and pulse. Boom, 30 second pie crust DONE!

Mix flour and salt.
Cut 2/3 shortening in (cornmeal) (* note: using two knives, slice up the shortening in the flour/salt until it looks like cornmeal)
Cut 1/3 shortening in (large peas)
Add water 1 T at a time.
Form ball with dough.
Roll out
*enough for two pie crusts
