• 6 eggs
  • - 3 whole, 3 separated
  • 3/4 c sugar
  • 1/3 c honey
  • 1 c flour, sifted
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • powdered sugar
Preheat oven to 350 F
Using an electric mixer, beat 3 eggs and 3 egg yolks until light. Gradually adding
sugar, beat until mixture falls in ribbons (about 6 minutes). Beat in honey, pouring
it in a thin stream.
Sift together flour and baking powder. Fold into egg mixture.
Beat remaining egg whites until stiff. Fold into egg mixture.
Bake 45 minutes in a well-greased 9'' square cake pan. Check cake over 30 minutes
and if the top is golden, cover with foil and continue baking.
Remove from pan. Reinvert and let cool on a wire rack.
Sprinkle top with powdered sugar.
