• 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 TB light corn syrup
  • 2 TB butter
  • 4 oz unsweetened (baking) chocolate
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
Combine sugar, cream, corn syrup, butter, and chocolate in a 2 qt saucepan and cook on HIGH for 4 minutes, stirring continuously. Continue to cook on HIGH for 3-4 minutes, stirring, until sauce is thickened. Remove from heat, add vanilla extract, and stir vigorously with a wire whisk until smooth.
