- 3/12 (~4 oz) lb pure palm sugar

1/2 tsp salt

1 can coconut milk

1 whole taro root, cut into 1/2 inch squares
| 1. Combine palm sugar, salt, and coconut milk in a sauce pan and bring to a boil. Take off heat.
2. Steam taro root pieces until tender to the fork but not falling apart.
3. Put taro root into a bowl and liberally ladle in coconut milk sauce. Consume (or imbibe, depending on your tastes).
